Drums echo in the night air
Tambourines twinkle
Reverberate between the lull of air conditions
And wolfhounds howling
In my saddness, laying in my empty bed
Battered and brusied from society’s ills
The soft whisper of moonbeams pierce my spirit
And still the drums call
Wrapping a shawl about me
I venture into the blackness, barefoot, virgin
Wild grey eyes flickering as soft coyotes fur
As warm earth encases my feet
Through the grove of trees burst forth
Shards of blues violets, emerald greens, vibrant red
Swirls of silks, satin and calming cotton
A hawk speeds overhead
And I step through the circle
The vision given to me seeping through
The stains of a violin, women everywhere
Ethereal light and mysterious dark
The spin of the circle as they danced to Gaia’s light
Nuit the mother welcomed me
With the sun and the stars
Sekmet sat amongst the flames
A swirl of a small river
Flowed at Yemayas feet
Brigit spoke to the heavens
Maat beckoned to me
The rhythm only increased
My soul was seperated
Violin poured into the empty air
My locks falling freely
Joining hands with Lilith and Oya
the thunderclouds revolved
A flash of grey to green
a natural beauty
The horses were summoned
a flash of fire
Riding, riding with White Buffalo Woman
into the mists of Avalon
