The Gypsy’s Lament

Bare as the shifting sands

coating the path as if gritty glitter

Still as the whispers of the four winds

lost, hanging, waiting and watching

And yet the existence I have welcomed

Though I have been able to push out shards of pain and saddness

In this I have been able to realize my strength, happiness

Running along aside a silver wolf

The Holy Spirit my companion

A gift from my Father

On my journey to my wilted tree

where my soul finds respite

On my journey to my wilted treeĀ

where my soul blossoms

On my journey to my wilted tree

where my soul contented watches the eternal sky

In the presence of my Father

Loved unconditionally

UnfetteredĀ
